Man's Needs Today Include Jewelries

Man's basic needs today are home, food, clothing and, brace yourself like your bracelets jewelry... it's...jewelry. That's right, man is very fond of jewelry today and there are even those who just can't seem to live without it. It is a fact that you can't deny.

So, what in this jewelry that both men and women, young and old are so engrossed and mesmerized by it? Is it that very precious stone sitting on top of a ring? Is it that gold band that's embracing their wrist as if to say, "Hold me now and I'll warm your heart" and all those almost-romantic stuff? The answer is yes and no.

Yes, because some people are fascinated with jewelries that can possibly shine in the dark even without the presence of light. Those are gold and diamond jewelries, full of precious stones and colorful spirit. They seem to hypnotize their owners. They seem to have the desire to be loved for all eternity. The scenario is the same for centuries. Man has always been fascinated with these tiny yet precious possessions.

On the other hand, no, because there are jewelries right now that doesn't have the glittering stones, the mesmerizing gold bands or the hypnotizing glow. Jewelries that are made with unorthodox materials: paper, cloth, leather and other kinds of weird but beautiful things.

Right now, from the executive offices on the 331st floor of a corporate building down to the dark street alleys where bullies and bums are dominating their turf, they are all wearing the same types of jewelries these days. Jewelries that depict their personality and they are not golden bands or shiny diamond rings.

Even in today's world where there seem to be an endless wave of recession, man still does find some ways to express himself and from necklaces jewelry to bracelets jewelry and it's through these uniquely-designed, cheap yet valuable pieces of prized possessions. Anyone with these can surely express himself in more than a thousand ways and it doesn't have to be an expensive item.
