Making Sales Online Without A Website

It is not new news that the Internet is populated with consumers and businesses looking for goods and services. Websites have grown by the millions and continue to increase as online usage grows.

As a business owner you may question if the Internet will ever have a place for your offline business or you may have began planning on designing a website to increase your exposure of your local business to the Internet population. Never think because your business isn't a website that there isn't a place for you because you are without a developed website. Building exposure for your business is the best way to increase the amount of walk-in sales to your establishment and the Internet is big exposure at it's best.

More and more shoppers everyday search the Internet for local businesses that are offering goods/services they may need or desire. With the increased demand, the development of information portals for the sole purpose of providing local specific data to Internet users has exploded.

There is a type of advertising product out there that is still in it's growth but increasing rapidly in the electronic information era, that advertising service is PPC (pay per call advertising). PPC advertising online allows you to advertise your business but only pay when a shopper calls you.Â'

Many information search PPC companies are using an ad format that looks much like a content based Google AdWords ad. Instead of clicking a link however, they are asked to call a phone number instead. This phone number will be a number different from your business phone number but will be forwarded to your business phone line when called. This allows the online PPC agency to track your calls and bill you accordingly.

This type of advertising is excellent because you only are paying for results but are being exposed and branded in your local market. The costs of the phone calls will be variable based on industry and the pay per call agency, but can be well worth the cost if you have a sales team ready to take in orders or additional foot traffic. Advertising Research shows that those that call a call center are far more likely to end their conversation with a buy compared to clicking on a website through a paid advertisement.
