Making Money Blogs: The Different Income Streams Out There

You've probably heard of making money blogs. These days, more and more people seem to be making a living from home, writing about what they love on websites known as blogs. Interest in this money-making opportunity has really grown in recent years, but there still seems to be a little confusion as to how the money is made.

Here's a brief list of the ways that making money blogs bring in cash:

1) Adsense: If you use the internet then you've probably heard of Google. When you perform a search, you might notice a few sponsored results at the top of the page. These are placed by individuals and businesses who have paid Google. Making money blogs can make a cut of what Google earns from this by placing Google Adsense ads on their website.

2) Amazon: You can make money by promoting products from retail giants such as Amazon. The Amazon Associates program will give you a special link to place on your site. If anyone makes an order at Amazon through that link, you'll get paid a certain percentage of the total value of their order.

3) Ad Sales: Many blogs make a good income by selling private ad space. For example, if your blog's a guide to the local area, then local businesses might benefit by placing adverts on your site.

4) eBooks and Products: Some bloggers end up selling their own eBooks. This could be anything you have expertise in, such as how to train a dog or how to start up a blog! Some bloggers also create courses in the form of MP3s or videos. Or you may even find that your visitors are interested in buying merchandise related to your blog.

5) Writing Jobs: Since blogging is a way to showcase your writing knowledge, many bloggers are now finding that having a blog creates the platform to find further work. Many bloggers work on a freelance basis for other large blogs or magazines in the same niche.

6) Donations: Many bloggers include a donations button on their blog. Once your blog gets big, some of your visitors might want to donate as a way to say thank you for providing so much useful information for free.

There are so many ways to create your own making money blogs - it all depends on what you want to do. As long as you can draw in visitors, the rest will follow.
