In the same neighborhood there's another garage door which has a checker board on it. This was painted there by the wife who is also an artist. To give it a distinct look and style, the wife painted eight inch light and dark brown squares on the garage door.

The one car garage door in the house was used to serve a two car garage and this appeared out of proportion to the size of house. She added that this design has been instrumental in taking people's mind of this shortcoming.

When she finished with the work their all her neighbors were curious to know from where her creative idea stemmed. One more of the neighbors was able to pick a design which had flowers in it because that was still not common here. According to the wife's information her neighbor, who is painting contractor desires to paint his garage door four times a year corresponding with the change in seasons.

You can even find readymade designs in stores which can be put o the door with either glue or staples. So don't worry about not having a creative bone.
