Make Monet With Twitter, Fast!

Hey, what are you up to?

This is one of the main questions we often ask our associates and relatives. Whether its only making a drink or catching up on the spring-cleaning, it's appealing to us. However, you wouldn't really at random email someone to inform them that you are making yourself a hot drink - they are probably not interested.

But what about the persons who would like to know of your activities?

Of course, we may own pagers and cell-phones, but it's far too time pinching to be forwarding personal messages to probably tens of persons on your directory.

So, what if near is a way to perform this in fewer than 30 seconds?

Well finally, there is a solution! It's fast and trouble-free, and has been made accessible for us to take advantage of at no cost, so that you can share all the little things that go on in your life.
Thanks to Twitter, we can share quick, hundred and forty character messages regarding your daily activities and keep an eye on the updates of the persons you know, or have recently learned about.

It's like one gigantic BBQ get-together!

So in that case, what if I told you that everybody attending this get-together may perhaps be a possible customer for your off or online company? Now don't fail to remember this, Twitter is a social networking website and so it must be treated as such.

Here's one example of how Twitter marketing may well do for you-

You're at this gathering (Twitter) and you have a mate called 'Jack' (your Twitter follower), who might not necessarily be interested in what you have to offer, however, he knows someone at the gathering (His Twitter Follower), who wants the goods or services you are promotion. You know nothing of Jacks mate, but as a recommendation, his mate now follows you.

So what do you do now with this acquired mate?

Well I'd say that the recipe at this point is to be yourself. Do not go off on the tough-selling and make each Twitter post an advertisement. There's too many of those individuals around and quite frankly, it does not work at all! That's recognized as spam marketing and your followers will probably lump you and all additional updates you may well add.

Do you really like to be labelled as a spam promoter?

I thought you wouldn't!

People love golden treasures and I'm certain you do as well. Be as helpful as you can and don't keep back on the information you give away. After all, Twitter is all about sharing, so do it! Don't forget, you only have 140 characters to work with anyway, so it's not really going to hurt your back to provide a daily tip, or to submit a link back to a cool article that you may have just found It builds a relationship between you and your Twitter friends - and once you secure their confidence, they will be far more receptive to your slight nudges of self-advertising.

Lead them to your website and not the goods. After all, we hold a website to do the sales for us, so why feel the need to do so on Twitter itself?

People look for you as they are looking for clear solid information. They're certainly not keeping an eye you to receive hundreds of updates, informing them about the same gadget you may have to offer, a hundred times a day!

So head on over and socialize on Twitter, just don't be the one with a fixed business-jacket. That will in fact detract a huge amount of possible followers or customers from ever returning to you again - and that is something you really don't want!
