If you're looking at a stag night overseas, Madrid may be your first choice - and for good justification. No, there's no beach, but there is lot more to do in Spain that watch bikini-clad women and get a sunburn. There is culture. And, where there is culture, there are women, wine, and plenty to keep you busy.

With a population of over 3 million, Madrid is no small town. In fact, as a European town, it is third in sise to London and Berlin. A town this large should have enough going for it to entice you to try it.

Let's begin with the daytime activities. You may think there is very little to do in Madrid but watch a couple of Flamenco dancers and look at the buildings. Well, if any of this weren't a stag night, possibly that is what you would do.

But have you ever played kayak polo? Have you ever observed the running of the baby bulls? I think not! Did you know that you could spend the afternoon in an inflatable sumo suit, beating up your buddies? Did you know that you could spend a couple of hours in a co-ed Arabian bath?

Madrid has more range in daytime activities than possibly any other European town. go to the casino, go to the spa, spend the afternoon in the woods, firing paintballs. You can go indoor or outdoor karting, play nine holes of golf, or go orbing. Location a couple of best on the horses, excite in a laser combat war, go quad bike, or have a wild watersports day. You'll be busy in Madrid.

At evening, a stag night in Madrid has even more to offer. If your timing is right, you can take onboard an Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid match, or take a tapas and bar tour, eating and drinking every step of the way. Top your evening off with a good old fashioned pub crawl.

Madrid also provides what they call a "Stag Fiesta". Naked women, good food, some wine - all until the sun comes up. Que bueno!

Yes, you can still find out the Flamenco dancers if you want, go to the Plaza Mayor, the Barrio de La Latina, or any number of traditional tourist sites, but you are not a tourist, you're on a mission. A stag night in Madrid is one chock-a-block with beauty and tradition, kind and vitality, but also quite plenty of wine, women, and good times.
