Low cost payday loans - Should You Apply?

By: Andrew John Evans

You may have heard a lot regarding payday loans in recent times. These simple loans are now a very popular service for those who are in need of small sums of cash very quickly. The amounts of these loans vary from $500 to $1500 and are repaid after a couple of weeks. Payday loans, or payday advances as they are often refered to are sometimes criticized a great deal by critics who say that the interest charges are too high and result in applicants ending up in financial trouble.

You should remember though, that any financial product can place a borrower in debt if they do not take care. The rates of interest on payday advances do seem very high when you compare them to normal and this is due to the fact that they are paid back over such short periods and if this was not the case they would not be a financially viable option for any payday provider.

Although the rates of interest on payday loans seem high, you can get a low cost payday advance. There are lots of payday lenders that only charge $15 per $100 borrowed so this should certainly be thought of as a low cost payday loan when you contemplate the other options which are credit card debt and overdraft charges.
