Forget all of the diet pills and secret fat loss formulas on the market. You want to lose weight the natural way so that you can stay healthy and in shape. There are no shortcuts in fat loss and beyond all of those infomercials promoting "the next best fat loss supplement," the simplest way to lose weight is by consuming less calories. That's it! Once you get adept to doing this, you will start slimming down in no time.

By eating less calories than you normally would in a day, your body uses the fat as energy sources and it sheds off. You don't want to substantially eat less calories. You want to decrease your calorie intake gradually so that your body can adapt to the change. If you decrease your calorie intake by 50% in one day then your body will start to use muscle as energy and you will lose muscle quickly that way. You don't want your body using muscle over fat as energy so in order for this not to happen, you need to commit to exercise to speed up body fat loss.

What exercise does for you is maintain your muscle and promote more fat loss. But make sure not to eat so much after the exercise because you will slow down your fat burning progress. If you want to speed up your fat loss even more, try to do HIT (High Intensity) Training which incorporates high intensity exercises and interval training to burn more calories. HIT Training maintains a high heart rate which is good for burning fat faster. Make sure to contact a physician or personal trainer so that you are in good health to perform HIT Training, you don't want to hurt yourself.

Make sure you exercise ever other day because doing it everyday can be over-training. This is putting too much stress on your muscles and it delays your muscle recovery time. In this period the muscle needs food to help it repair itself. If you overload on food intake you will delaying your fat loss goal. We want lean muscle mass, not body builder mass. Stick to working your muscles hard every other day and stick to your diet so that your fat loss goal does not slow down.

Get up and get going on your own routine and before you know it, you will be losing fat really quick. Just remember to gradually decrease your calorie intake and commit to an exercise routine.
