Looking To Get A Tattoo?

By:

When it comes to getting a tattoo it can be a very special event - at least it was for mine anyway. In this case, I find that its super important to pick the right one. Remember, this is going to be on the body for the rest of your life - unless you have it removed. So make a choice and hope it's the right one! Just kidding! If you need ideas to base your tattoo off of, I would really suggest checking out some of the websites that are available online. If you wanted to you could even check out Google Images. But I always find that when looking for tattoos it's always best to look for a site that specializes IN tattoos. No, they don't have to actually be a shop that makes tattoos. But they should know a little something about them, especially if you are going to pick something like a Tribal tattoo. The Tribal and the Celtic tattoos are two of the most popular types of tattoos that people seem to get. One of the reasons behind this is the sheer beauty.

Have you seen one of the tribals? Take a look online! They really are spectacular. Another reason you might want to get a Tribal or Celtic tattoo is because of the history behind it. While both have an interesting history, I really suggest reading the entire history on the Celtic tattoo - it's probably the most interesting thing you are going to read all week! Tribal tattoos have a bold visual appeal: their thick, black curving lines and interlocking patterns lend themselves well to many of the standard tattoo locations, such as the upper arm (in the form of a tribal armband for example), the back or the lower back. Different Tribal designs consist of dragons, crosses, roses, the Phoenix, suns, tigers, bears, foxes, skulls, trees and much more!

Celtic tattoos and body art (as well as other tribal tattoos) have been very popular for the past decade or so. Put it down to the graceful, timeless beauty of these designs which seem to lend themselves particularly well to tattoo art. Think of Celtic knots, crosses or spirals - or, more often than not, an intricate combination of several of these elements, which are often seen as black armband tattoos or as a sleeve tattoo. Various Celtic designs include; crosses, butterfly, knots (like the trinity knot), shamrocks, hearts, and the Irish Claddagh!
