London riots have spread over the city for three nights. The government has already dealt with the rioters with water cannons and courts sitting all night long. The police managed to quell the riot and prevent it from further spreading. But the city is turned upside down and it should be got back to its normal order.
A lot of people gathered to clean the city after the third night of riots. Large crowds went to the places where the situation is the worst. The
fantastic clean was organised on Tweeter and Facebook. A lot of celebrities are also expected to join.
The riots were also organised online via messaging and social networking sites. Brits are trying to show the rioters that people can get together online for a better cause.
More than 200 people raised their grooms in Clapham Junction, showing they are ready to start cleaning and fixing all damages. Burned out terraced buildings and pieces of broken glass are the least problem. The damage, caused by the riots, is estimated as ten millions of pounds by the Association of British Insurers.
Some of the people came without any cleaning tools. But the organisers had already prepared some extra grooms and new brushes for every new volunteer. People were ready to clean their city and make it calm and quiet as it was before the riot.
Fixing everything and putting it back in order is very important. People will never be able to forget those three nights. A riot like that one, has not happened for a very long time. People should try to clear not only the streets and buildings, but their minds, too. Maybe, that is the real reason which got all those volunteers together. They probably want to get over what happened together, not on their own.
Cleaning the streets will be done sooner or later.
Professional cleaning services will also take part in the whole process for sure. The city will be the same, but the people will always remember what happened. They need to think about the whole situation and how they can prevent future riots from happening.
