Drew has held lighting and photography workshops all over the world for amateurs to like minded professionals, and his passion for capturing a captivating frame is infections.
Most recently, Drew was featured on Strobist, where his penchant for his inexpensive on-the-fly lighting solutions and creative sets made him a star among the do it yourself crowd. Drew has made a name for himself by shooting Chef Celebrity Jaime Oliver, Spartacus actor John Hannah and even Guy Ritchies go-to perennial tough-guy, Vinnie Jones.
He takes the average boring headshot or studio shot tell a story. Thats what good photographers try to do, but what sets Drew apart, is that he does it every time. He puts the subject at ease, and since he has scouted the locations thoroughly, he is easily able to transition right into the shooting phase. All the extra time he saves, he uses for getting his subjects comfortable. This more than anything else, may be the hallmark not of a good photographer, but a great one.
