Hi, I'm Jim Bob Housley proprietor of Lincoln's Road House for 12 years now at the corner of South Pearl and Buchtel. It may be kind of a, bit of a Denver 'Cheers', if you will, but with a Cajun accent and some live music, great Cajun food, great burgers and great Green Chile. It's a lot of fun, it's a comfortable place, everyone has a great time, everyone gets to know each other.

I've worked at places in Denver that go back 30, 40 to 50 years. I worked on Larimer Square before there was anything downtown, there was no LoDo, there was Larimer Square. I helped open the Denver ChopHouse & Brewery Downtown which opened right next to the ballpark, six weeks before the ballpark did, Coors Field. In the Spring on 1999 my partner and I seriously contemplated buying this place, and then we did and here I am 12 years later, and happy to be here.

We do a Happy Hour Monday through Friday, 4pm - 6pm. We do all of our appetizers half price, we do $1.00 off Well, Wine and Draft. We've got Fried Pickles and that's kind of a, I don't know a Carolina thing or maybe a Virginia thing. But now we go with a big basket of sliced pickles and we do our own batter, it's kind of a spicy, peppery, Cajun seasoning…they're fantastic.

We were just named Westword's Best Blues Bar, and in the same vein last year 5280 Magazine named us Best Dive Bar. So we go from Dive Bar to Blues Bar to Chicken and Waffles to Rock n Roll to a Softball league and a Pool league and these guys are all goofballs and they all have a lot of fun. We have fun with our whole crowd and we make sure everyone has a comfortable place that they could call their own.

Lincoln's Road House, again we're at south Pearl Street and Buchtel. We're just South of I-25, right outside of Downtown Denver. We concentrate on the food, the people, and the music.
