Life is the Little Things

By: Richard D. Blackstone

Spirituality information centers around life, love and the true nature of how things work. How things really work is based on the little things in life.

A lot of us get caught up in the idea of having the big dream come true. It doesn't matter what the dream is. It could be the purchase of your â€oedream house” or landing that â€oedream job” or taking that â€oedream vacation” or dreaming about yourself looking in the mirror with your body at its ideal weight and tone.

We live in a world of imagination.

That is definitely one of the huge perks about this human experience. First we imagine and then we create that vision into our reality. That is the way it is supposed to work. The key, of course, is to keep your eye on the prize and take your focus off of those things that take you away from the prize.

So it all starts with our imagination of what could be and then wanting it so emphatically that you bring it into your reality. But as we all know, you don't just wake up one morning and all of a sudden you are in the â€oedream bedroom” of your brand new â€oedream house”. There is a process involved because of this wonderful concept in the realm of the physical called â€oeTime”.

Time allows us to savor the journey between the moment of imagination and the moment when that imagined vision shows up in your current experience. That is the delicious part of the play you are writing for yourself. So now the question becomes, â€oeWhat are the little things you are doing that make the big dream come true?”

I love the way the universe works.

It always brings your expectations and desires to you in a much more magnificent form than you can imagine yourself. But in order for the universe to work its magic it needs some help from you. You see, it is by thought that what you desire is brought to you by the universe but it is by action that you receive it.

It is those little things that you do every day that allow the universe the forms and methods in which to take its interpretation of your imagination and put it into concrete form for your experience of it. You need to set the stage for the arrival of your desires. You need a landing area for the universe to drop your dreams into your reality.

It is a two way creation going on here and you are a critical part of the equation.

If you never do a thing that is oriented toward receiving your goal then the universe has a hard time placing it in front of you. This creation concept is a process. It is not an instant endeavor. That's the beauty of being human. The planting of the seed, the nurturing of the soil, the tending of the garden and then the harvest of your investment in time, effort and expectation.

Every day you should be doing those little things in your life that are in alignment with the goals, visions, desires and expectations that you have for your life experience. You are critical to the creative process and, in physical reality, you don't have to do a lot of heavy lifting. It is the little things, done in a consistent manner that gives you the space of opportunity to allow the universe to fill the void with your desires.

Here is one of the little things you can do every day to help the universe in manifesting your goals. Smile at everybody you meet today and every day. Happy Creating.
