Life After The Elections:what The Candidates Can Apply For

By:

The candidates are campaigning like there's no more day after November 4. They have bought primetime slots, have been doing state-hopping to get their messages across and trying to get into the good side of political discussions. But after the ballots had been tallied or as early as after the news websites have reported the exit polls and have made their own predictions, only one of the presidential hopefuls will emerge as the winner who'll move to the famous address in the world.
So, where will the losing candidate go? It will only be natural for that person to go to seclusion for a while and think things over. Reflect over what went wrong and well, what's left in the bank account. The next logical step will be deciding what to do with life, so, as a way to give the candidates a good idea of what they can do after losing, have come up with alternative jobs they can go to.
1. John McCain - Foreign Service
In an interview with the Associated Press, McCain admitted that if he was not in politics, he'll be in the field of foreign service. This might be owed to the fact that his being in the military and being stationed in foreign countries. But what specific field in foreign service? A diplomat? An ambassador? Or maybe a USAid personnel. If he loses, he may qualify for the first two, what country could you picture him in?
2. Barack Obama Architect
As he was in the same AP interview with his rival, Obama cited that he would have liked to be an Architect. Can you imagine him trying to pull an Brad Pitt restoring New Orleans? I'll leave that to you. Maybe being a community organizer has given him the idea on what kind of houses people really need to be in.
3. Joe Biden Architect
He also answered that he would have ventured into the world of Architecture if he is not in government office. But as he started in politics at the tender age, really doubt if he wanted anything but be in the political arena. Well, at the least, he and Obama have a common ground, a hidden desire to build houses.
4. Sarah Palin - Pageant Organizer for future hockey moms
She hasn't been asked of what might have been if she wasn't in politics so, have made up this one for her. This conclusion came from combining her beauty queen and tv reporter stints. The sexy librarian image makes it very fitting for her to be organizing pageants, as a way to fulfill her failure to win that 1984 Ms. Alaska title. Nothing against hockey moms here.
Whatever happens to the losing candidates, rest assured they will not shy away from the spotlight that long. They'll always make headlines and the losing candidates will continue to criticize the one who got the trophy. You can get them out of politics but you can't get politics out of their system.
