LG is getting ready to launch the world's first 3D phone and it is a moment to savour because it will finally start a new era in the mobile phone industry. The new phone, which is going to be called the LG Optimus 3D, is expected to be the first and best 3D phone so far. In fact, it will be the first phone, so you cannot actually go back in the past to witness any high-end smart phones with 3D capabilities. The LG Optimus 3D is all about 3D and it is for this reason that it has been getting significant amount of interest than a normal LG phone would do.
The biggest surprise that LG has managed to throw in has to be the fact that the LG Optimus 3D will not be requiring any glasses at all in order to get the 3D effect. Instead, you can view the phone in the normal mode itself and still be able to get the 3D effect. The use of glasses would have severely limited the functionality of the phone and LG have done a good job by incorporating the 3D effect, which does not require glasses. The 3D effect will be shown in the 4.3 inch touch screen display. Apart from being one of the largest displays on any mobile phone, it is also capable of supporting 3D. This feature alone puts the 4.3 inch display of the HTC desire HD and quite other phones back into the doldrums.
The 3D effect is expected to be the only thing that will be powering the touch screen of the phone. All other features seem to be normal and it is proven by the fact that it will be having the same 480 x 800 pixels resolution that is seen in a normal LG phone. Most of the details of the phone have not been revealed because LG have only recently made an advert for the phone. It will be officially announced at the Mobile world Congress on the February 14th and one cannot really explain the amount of excitement that it is created among the tech lovers.
The majority of the features including the amount of internal memory that the LG Optimus 3D will be coming with has not been revealed by LG. Instead, one thing that has been confirmed is the fact that it will be coming with memory card support of up to 32 GB. It is a quintessential requirement given that the 3D effect will induce a lot of users to store a lot of 3D content in their memory. Apart from playing 3D, the phone is also pretty well equipped to run quite a lot of high-end applications. This could be due to the 1 GHz processor that has been seen in previous LG phones to great effect. The amount of RAM that the phone will be having has also not been revealed, but one thing that is for sure is that this phone will be launched in the UK.
