Lexus used cars like the LS 430 was the automotive companys first entry into the full size luxury market place. Actually the LS 430 was born from the LS 400 which was the Japanese automakers initial vehicle that competed against the likes of the Mercedes S-Class and the BMW 7-Series, just to name a few. The LS 400 came onto the production line in 1990 and helped Lexus gain a strong hold in this very competitive segment of the auto industry. I could only find one fuel statistic for the LS 430; it has a fuel rating of, 13-liter, per 100km, for city driving and 8.7-litre, per 100km, for highway driving. The engine size for one of these beautiful vehicles is a V8, 4.3-litre, 290 horsepower engine and it comes in a five speed automatic transmission. For a big car the fuel stats are pretty good.

Lets look at the pros and cons of buying a LS 430 as a used vehicle.

1-It was given a good rating for reliability as a used car by a leading online consumer website.
2-When visiting different forums on the Lexus LS 430, I read nothing of any complaints or problems with the vehicle.
3-The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety organization gave it a good rating for a crash test done to it.

This vehicle is probably one of the first cars I have research and could not find any problems with. Its almost like Lexus built the ultimate in longevity and thats why I recommend it as a used car to buy.
