Let's Go To Aruba, Caribbean!

By:

Some of us want to get away. No, all of us want to get away. Away from work, away from morning traffic, away from housing bills, electricity bills, groceries, Chinese food, etc. Here is the thing. You can leave all that behind to go to Aruba. Doesn't the name of the place give off a good feeling already?

Aruba is a 33 km-long island in the southern Caribbean Sea. It is part of the Lesser Antilles, just 27 km north of Venezuela. Aruba is a vacation hotspot for tourists coming from all over the world. So if you're thinking about "getting away", this is the place to go. It forms a group of islands called the ABC islands, together with Bonaire Island and Curacao Island.

What makes Aruba a popular tourist hotspot?

To answer that, we need to get into the dirty details. Aruba is a flat island without rivers. The island is only 33 kilometers or 21 miles long, and it is outlined by white sandy beaches along the western and southern parts of the island. This is where tourists get together in Aruba to get away.

But that isn't the only reason Aruba is famous, though that's definitely a big part of it. The other reason is Aruba's perfect tropical climate. The great perfect-for-staying-out-in-the-water climate in Aruba attracts tourists all year round. You can pick any month where you could take a leave off work and travel to Aruba and find it's the perfect weather for swimming. Aruba is as accessible as it is a paradise.

You can always visit the sister islands of Bonaire or Curacao islandsthat is, if you've already been to Aruba once. There's no end of places to go here in the Caribbean.

No wonder Aruba's government puts much emphasis on its tourism. No wonder we all want to get away... to Aruba.
