Internet marketing, in as much as its mostly online based, its still a human relationship based business. And even more so with power social media marketing these days. So to be successful at it (in the short and long term) you need to know how to handle people; how to arouse enthusiasm in your team members.

Perhaps youre saying to yourself Well I dont have a team so how do I arouse enthusiasm in my team; Im just getting started. These principles still remain true. The way you handle one prospect (a person, a lead) is the pretty much the same way youll handle a team of 100 or more. If you are faithful with little, youll be faithful with much more. And the same is true in the family. So if you have one team member, or even a lead, and you can arouse enthusiasm in them, youll do well with 10, 100 or more.

Everyone desires to be, and feel, important. Even your dog does. However, giving appreciation is something that we overlook so easily. How can you beat this? By having a sincere desire to see the best from your team members, kids, spouse or dog. Remember how warm you felt the last time someone, even a complete stranger, paid you a nice complement on your dress, hair style? Or the last your sponsor sincerely complemented you on your sale last time? Why cant you do the same for your team?

The best way to build enthusiasm in a person is through honest and sincere appreciation and encouragement.

In your attempt to build a legitimate home based business, remember your teams performance eventually reflects in your bank balance, to some extent. Appreciate and encourage them for their efforts and youll appreciate the import of this statement. They would put forth more effort and eventually do better work when theyre appreciated than they would when criticized.

Whether its your kids, the team you lead at your 9-5, or the team you have in internet marketing business, be slow to criticize and lavish in your praise and people will cherish your words for the rest of their lives, even long after you are gone
