Learn How To Get An Auction Car

Buy an auction car used and online while saving up to 90% over retail
Buying an auction car is something I also know a lot about. I worked for the largest auction company in the United States.
The auction car process is intoxicating. The genuin opportunity to save thousands of dollars over retail is real and tangible.
My function at the auction car used reconditioning department was to prepare the individual vehicle for auction day.
My department would evaluate the vehicle and determine the units overall condition. The condition of the vehicle would determine how the vehicle was auctioned.
At the auction car center I worked for they would divide the vehicles into three classes. Green light meant the vehicle was in good condition and that no major system problems where detected.
The auction company would warranty a green light auction car for 30 days and provide a refund to the buyer if major problems where discover after the sale.
The next auction car used designation was the yellow light. This is when minor problems where detected like air conditioning not working or check engine lights or other problems that did not affect the power train system.
The last classification was the red light auction car. This meant that a major power train component had been identified as having a problem. Example of this would be a worn engine that smoked or a transmission that slipped.
The red light auction car was sold in, as is condition with no warranties implied.
The red light auction car attracted many mechanics looking to invest some time and money into repairing a vehicle and then reselling or even re-auctioning the vehicle under a green light auction to bring top dollar.
The excitement on auction day was the real opportunity to buy a vehicle thousands below market value. You could bid unchallenged on a vehicle and walk away with one hell of a deal.
The auction could also go the other way and you could get into bidding war that would leave you with little or no profit margin.
The auction car used inventory was supplied from many different vendors but was mainly from different leasing and rental car companies.
When a vehicle was turned in at the end of a lease it was shipped to an auction car operation.
Also the large rental car fleets would dispose of their aging inventory at these locations.
Be on notice that most of the used car inventory at your local dealer and used car lot comes from large auction centers.
Some of the vehicles where very well maintained and some where not. The buying process would best be described, as the buyer must beware and educated. In depth free auction car education is available at my website.
