Lead Follow Up

Marketing online does work with the right process. Remember most people will not buy from you the first time checking out your website. On average it takes a prospect 7-10 times to review a product or service before deciding to buy. You will need a lead follow up process to produce best results. Start with a capture page inviting members to type in their name, email address, and phone number.

Use an auto responder when a member gives their email address. Auto responders will only be as good as the messages put in it. When doing lead follow up dont have all your messages being sales oriented. This will scare away most of your prospects. Start off by introducing yourself and sharing your story. Your main goal is to provide value. Invite members to call you back and/or attend a webinar to learn more about yourself and how you can help them. After establishing a relationship it will become more acceptable to share your site and invite your prospect to take action.

Auto responders will always work to generate sales for a percentage of your prospects. The power of the phone is a very effective lead follow up. At first a good start is to introduce you to the member. Offer to answer questions they have. Your prospects will be impressed that you took the time to call them back without being sales oriented. Keep in mind that the average person looking for an opportunity submits their information in capture pages 5 times. Most network marketers are afraid to call back their prospects so this gives you an advantage.

Auto responders dont work for all lead follow up. Some people get overwhelm by several emails and just lose the belief that a program is real. I know a couple of powerful tools on the Internet to show your prospects that you are real and want to help them. Facebook and Skype are very powerful tools. Almost everyone has a Facebook account these days. You can search for your prospect by email on Facebook. Then, say Hi and give a brief introduction. Seeing a picture and learning more about someone on a social network is very powerful. Skype is a free tool where you can also find other skype members by an email or name search. This is powerful for communication with out of country prospects. You can instant message them or call them through your PC for Free with a microphone. If they speak a different language you can use a free service to translate text to another language.

The amount of lead follow up will depend on your time and amount of leads generated daily. Whatever, method you decide it is important to provide value for people. Your conversion will increase if you are able to incorporate all the methods that I mentioned. All methods should be done in a way that sounds like personal communication. Personal communication really does drive all marketing efforts.
