Las Caletillas Holidays Are Like Vacations In A Postcard

The tallest mountain in Spain is closer to Africa than Portugal. On Tenerife island you can enjoy a wide array of Las Caletillas holidays.

I like to relax and commune with a good book all day. I follow it up with an afternoon nap and a delicious supper. The weather is that perfect range of not too cold and not too hot. In other words it is nearly perfect for comfort.

After a long walk at sunset along the beach I want to dance. The road that splits the waterfront from the numerous accommodations is a narrow ribbon. The community is built against the rising terrain that affords wide screen views of the ocean.

It's fun to mix traditional fare with island specialties when dining. It's especially delightful to mix up the dessert matrix. I recommend trying all of the appetizers and desserts over several days.

Excursions are readily available and designed to relate to a variety of people. From the tame to the action-packed you can easily find activities for both day and night. At the end of your fun filled day or night there are the pools. I love to swim. I enjoy drifting away with my eyes closed. Listening to music that drifts through the night and hanging out with loved ones or new friends is a tremendous joy.

I must say that I absolutely love swimming in a perfectly heated pool within a home run ball of the ocean. Poolside amenities are outstanding in every respect. My wife wondered why we needed a room when we were eating, drinking, and relaxing by the water so much. The answer should have been obvious. This is one of the most romantic spots on earth.

This is one of seven islands that comprise the Canary Island group. It just may be the star of the island vacations. The ocean views are vast and endless. In the evening I wore a light windbreaker. I did not really need it but it made a great excuse to purchase what I consider a souvenir.

Nearly all service people are multilingual and you can even exchange your funds for other currencies. This is really convenient if you are continuing your journey to another geographic arena.

It does not matter which package you participate in as long as you enjoy yourself. Create memories for the whole crew. You just need to arrive with the idea that you are using the first trip to learn about all your options first hand. I guarantee that you will be planning your next trip while winging your way home.

The gentle surf lapping at the shore will erase your every footstep. Nothing will wash away the memories embedded in your head and your heart. Your body may return to work but your mind will still be on the island.
