The other male's mate with the others in the group and wandering males mates with the lesser hens. The most interesting thing is that all the hens in the group lay their eggs in the dominant hens nest.

The dominant hen and the male take turns incubating the giant eggs and the weight of one ostrich egg is equal to two dozen chicken eggs. The Ostrich has a very close association with the humans.
