Kurinji Andavar Temple of Kodaikanal is located at a distance of 3.2 km from the lake and the temple is known for worshipping Lord Murugan. A nice view of Palini Hills as well as the northern plains can be enjoyed from this temple area. Apart from these spots, the most attractive is the Silver Cascade Waterfalls which is situated on the Ghat Road. The height of the falls is 180feet. Bear shoal Falls in Kodaikanal is considered as the best picnic spot. Golf club of Kodaikanal is also very popular among the tourists.
