- SALMON FISHCAKES RECIPES By: tmoxcs - Ingredients:
12 oz salmon *
12 oz peeled potatoes
1 egg whisked with a fork
1 carrot
1 onion
2 tablespoons natural (plain) yoghurt
½ teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon lemon juice
* If you prefer to use tinned Tuna - then use about a 7 oz tin - but drain off all the oil.
Method:
Peel and very finely grate the carrot. Chop the onion into similarly fine pieces. Peel and boil the potatoes until tender. Grill the salmon for about 2 to 3 minutes each side.

2 lb of fresh cod fillets
6 fl.oz milk
Half level teaspoon of caster sugar
4 oz of plain white flour
2 tablespoons of plain white flour
2lb of Potatoes
1 level teaspoon of dried yeast Freshly ground pepper & salt Half a level teaspoon of salt
Vinegar
INSTRUCTIONS
Make Batter:(1-7)
Warm the milk and pour into bowl. Add the sugar and dissolve. Blend in yeast, cover and leave to stand at room temp., for 6/7 min until mixture becomes frothy. Sift flour and salt into a bowl, make a well in the center.
