Kidney Stone Remedy

I was driving down the highway. All I knew the pain in my groin was excruciating. As a drove, I kept looking at the directions given to me. The small bit of paper was my last bit of hope.

The place, where I was, had no doctor. The closest doctor was a ten hour drive away. Sitting behind the steering wheel and driving the short distance was too painful for me. I knew I was driving but where and how were all a mystery.

Finally, I reached the small dirt road where I had to take a diversion and get off the highway. I was headed to a lady's house who was a local medical practitioner. She hadn't studied medicine in a medical college but people believed that she could rid me of the pain.

As I drove down the small road, the only thing I hoped for with all my life was, that she should be able to cure me. The road led to a back swamp land. There, right in between all the dirt and slush, stood a little house. It sure looked a lotus growing in a dirt pond.

There she stood, the most beautiful women, I had ever seen. It was not her face or body which attracted me; it was her inner beauty. The eighty year old women had beautiful long grey hair. It looked like she had fine silver threads flowing down from her scalp. The smile and the charm of her face just made me run to her. She just made me sit down and began talking to me.

Her voice was sweet and she kept talking for over an hour. I sat there and just kept listening. Every word she said sounded like the sound of music. I was so mesmerized by her inner beauty that somehow I just can't recollect a single word she spoke to me.

Each word that she spoke seemed to be as if it was the truth. All that she spoke were all very important to me and to my world. She was someone I had seen for the first time but yet I felt she was known to me. I, never once felt that this was an absolute stranger talking to me in a southern accent.

Finally, after an hour she had grown tired. She must have felt that I was an absolute zombie. She then asked me for a pen and paper. I took it out and handed it to her. The lady then sat down and wrote a list of instructions for me. I doubtfully took the paper from her and then was completely zapped.

She told me that the instructions on the paper would get rid of my kidney stone and that it would cure me of the problem completely. I just sat there; I just couldn't understand how she found out about my stone and the unbearable pain. Even though I had been there for over an hour, I hadn't spoken a single word, phrase or monosyllable. How did she find out about my situation?

The old beauty smiled at me. As she smiled I saw the aura that she had around her. She just took me by the hand and showed me the way out.
