Key Necessities for the Existence of Genius

By: Andrew Schwartz

Audience is the first requisite for genius but not the only one, elsewise the Ohio sniper would also be defined as genius. The attention of the Midwest has been focused upon this man over the past 10 months; the quantity of his shooting targets is twenty three, the death of a woman lies on his conscience. This man became widely-known and managed to do it without informing the authorities of who and where he is. This man could be defined as genius if an audience was the only requirement to be qualified as such person, but t is not. Genius also needs a moral standard. People called Hitler a genius but he can not really be defined as genius because he took from people but not gave to them. While defining some features of genius, he was the embodiment of evil, and so transferred genius to the level where it stops existing in place of evil’s egoism and supremacy. Hitler put the life of other people at risk he acted against societal morals, and so he should be abhorred rather than imitated. The Ohio sniper and Hitler are social exiles and not idols, and so they can not be considered genius. Genius is a title which is given by other people and the end production which classifies a person as a genius must exist outside of the author for the people, therefore such people as Hitler and the Ohio sniper who took away from people instead of giving them can not be defined as geniuses.

So there are two key essential elements for the existence of genius, but it should be also mentioned what is not required from a genius. The intelligence quotient usually comes up in connection with genius; it is defined as an objective, expert evaluation of intelligence. However, an Intelligence Quotient test is not able to identify who is a genius and who is not. There are various tests such as those which are given at school or applied for psychological purposes and others. And each of these tests is different. These tests have different questions, figures and way of calculation, so their results will always differ.
