Keeping The Best Wine For Last

Keeping The Best Wine For Last

By:

The very first miracle Jesus performed was turning water into wine at a wedding. Mary, who birthed the seed of God, uttered the words that brought forth the new wine. (John 2)

The vats that were filled with the water that Jesus turned to wine were for the purpose of foot washing. When you are washed, you only need to have your feet washed. (John 13: 10) If you have made Jesus your Lord, then you have you are washed with His Blood and need only ask Him to cleanse you of the dirt of your daily walk.

You are invited to the wedding feast, and the Lord wants to fill your vessel to the brim with new wine. When Jesus and His disciples wanted wine, there was none. No joyous celebration at a festive event.

When new wine is poured into old wineskins, they will tear due to fermentation. The new wine represents the Holy Spirit. His Glory today is being manifested in signs and wonders throughout the earth. The effervescence of this new wine is exploding from within the believers and spilling out over the old wine complacency of the church.

Now the bride, who is impregnated with the Seed of God: Jesus, the Word, is crying out for new wine. The old wine has run out. The bride is yearning for a deep, intimate relationship with the One who is so in love with her.

God has kept the best wine for the end. If you are hungrily seeking to know His Glory, you will be filled with this joy. The bridegroom is not coming for a lukewarm bride, who is not passionately longing to know Him intimately. He will reject such a one (Rev. 3: 16) and say that He never knew her! (Mat. 25: 1 - 12)

The first Pentecost drew thousands of souls into the Kingdom per day. (Acts 3) We are entering the last Pentecost, which is also the Hebrew Feast of Trumpets. The trumpet is being sounded to announce the soon coming King.

Up until now we have received "the former rain moderately," but this is the time that: "he will cause to come down the former rain and the latter rain in the first month [the feast of Trumpets], and the floors shall be full of wheat [souls hungry for the Gospel], and the vats shall be full of wine [gladness] and oil [the Holy Spirit]." (Joel 2: 22 - 32)

"The Spirit and the Bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come, And let him that is athirst come." (Rev. 22: 17)

"Oh taste and see that the Lord is good, for His mercy endures forever." (Ps. 34: 8)
