Lourdes and Augusto Hanimian are the designers of Luli Fama bikinis. Based out of Miami, Florida the apparel is designed and made for a select group of retailers across the country and abroad. Its hot and sexy influence in the industry offers a captivating collection of swimwear designed to meet the demands of the fashion elite.

Lourdes 'Luli' was raised in Miami after coming over from Cuba. Augusto her brother-in-law was born in Argentina and came to Miami to work in the fashion industry with his family. They got the idea to design ladies swimwear and now are very successful in the fashion arena. They believe in using quality products and import most of their fabrics from around the world. They are able to get more vibrant color combinations by purchasing from other countries.

They love to use animal and paisley hypnotic prints with vibrant colors which make them one of the more sought after swimwear designers of today. Many of their designs are motivated by their love for Miami with its wide array of cultures and beautiful natural scenery. They use the rich orange, yellow, blue and purple hues of the sunrises and sunsets. They were the creators of the original scrunch butt bottoms which have become very popular because of its ability to fit all shapes and sizes. The collection released this year offers exotic swimwear with many versions of styles and colors with high fashionable looks.

At the 2010 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week they opened with a Latin theme of bikinis, cover-ups and monokinis that had the excitement oozing out of the spectators. They had Latin names for their lines such as Rumba, Pasion and Fiesta en Miami. Cover-ups went from a one-piece to shirts that were the length of a mini-dress. They make the change from sun seeker to party-goers an easy transition.

Many of their designs include pieces of jewelry, each piece is hand crafted by artists from around the world. One of their very complex collections, the Star used Swarovski crystals to accent the garments. The prices range from $120 to $150 but that is not bad, knowing that they use only quality fabric and material to make each piece.

They were featured in the Swimsuit Edition of Sports Illustrated four consecutive years. In the movie 'Taxi' top model Gisele Bundchen wore one of their garments. Katherine McPhee, Bar Rafaeli and Anna Kournikova were other celebrities who love their designs. They have been featured in magazines such as Elle, In Style, Glamour and Vogue. You will also see their swimwear in music videos and on MTV.

Their swimwear collection is making headlines on many of the leading German and British fashion magazines. How could it not become popular in the European countries with its sexy, bare all line of designs? It is a must have line of beach apparel for the fashion conscious.
