Nagpur, July 13, 2011: JK Tyre & Industries Ltd, Indias leading tyre major and the market leader in Truck/Bus Radial tyres, launched its state of the art JK Tyre Truck Wheels Centre at Nagpur, Maharashtra. JK Tyre Truck Wheels would provide one stop solution for the entire tyre & wheel related service needs of Trucks and Buses.

The JK Tyre Truck Wheels centre at Nagpur is spread over an area of around 6000 sq. ft with workshop area, showroom, Training rooms etc. The centre is equipped with state of the art facilities including a computerized Truck tyre Alignment Machine, Wheel balancing machine, Automatic Tyre Changer, Nitrogen Inflator and Truck tyre repair tools and offers end to end tyre-related services for trucks and buses.

It was inaugurated by Dr.Raghupati Singhania, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd in the presence of Mr.A.K.Bajoria, President & Director, Mr.A.S.Mehta, Marketing Director and other key officials of the company.

The service provided at JK Tyre Truck Wheels would help consumers reduce maintenance cost and fuel consumption. The modern equipment will also enhance the tyre life. Services like Wheel Alignment and Balancing play a major role in Safety and comfort. Nitrogen inflation is another service which offers a lot of benefits to the users.

Speaking at the inauguration, Dr.Raghupati Singhania, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, JK Tyre & Industries Ltd said JK Tyre is the pioneer of Radials in the country and is committed towards bringing the best of products and services. This initiative is another step in providing one stop tyre related services to the customers. With Radialisation increasing rapidly, JK Tyre, as the pioneer and market leader, has been striving hard to provide complete tyre solution to its customers.

Nagpur is one of the biggest trucking hubs in the country. Nagpur is also a major junction for roadways as India's two major national highways (Kanyakumari-Varanasi (NH 7) and Hajira-Kolkota (NH-6)) pass through the city. Nagpur Fleet owners have been the early adopters of Truck/Bus Radial tyres and have reaped the benefits of Radial technology. Services like Wheel Alignment, Balancing and Nitrogen Inflation will help the customers in reducing their operating costs and get the best out of their tyres.

Dr.Singhania also added With the rapid progress in the highway, the Radialisation in Commercial Vehicles is bound to grow. JK Tyre is committed to meet the demands of customers in terms of value added service and capacities.JK Tyre has already increased its TBR capacity from 8 lacs to 10 lacs at Mysore Plant. Further JK Tyre is setting up a new plant in Chennai to meet the requirement of Truck/Bus Radial tyres as well as Car Radial tyres.The new plant will increase JK Tyres TBR capacity from the present 10 lacs per annum to 14 lacs per annum.

Mr. Mufaddal Amin who is the son of Mr.Juzer Amin would be heading the operations of the centre.
