It's Like Christmas All The Time When You Have A Timeshare

Owning a timeshare is exciting. We have owned a timeshare in Hawaii for over 15 years. Each year we get to open it up and decide what type of vacation we will get. We can decide from multiple options how we are going to use our timeshare. It's like opening a gift on Christmas day…"what's inside?"

Using our timeshare each year means we get to choose from staying at our home resort, renting it to someone or exchanging it with another timeshare owner. Every other year we usually choose to stay at our home resort.Once we decide that we need to decide what week of the year makes the most sense to visit our villa on the beach. We can also decide to let friends stay there and enjoy our place and have a memorable vacation. Or we can rent it to someone and make a little money or use that money to rent a completely different timeshare. The last option is the most exciting of them all. It is literally a door to an almost unlimited number of options of places to visit, explore, and enjoy. It's called timeshare exchange.

Timeshare exchange allows us to trade our week for any week at any resort in the world. It's hard to get your mind around at first because it is such a huge idea. "You mean I can trade my timeshare for any of the 5,000 resorts around the world in over 100 countries?" That's right. Timeshares are available from over 5,000 timeshare resorts around the world from millions of individual owners. You can find a list of timeshares at websites like ARDA, RCI or Interval International.

I find myself explaining the concept of "timeshare exchange" to people who don't own timeshares as well as people who do. For example, let's say you own in Las Vegas, you can trade with someone and stay in their timeshare in Aruba, Vancouver or even Australia. You can stay in a city, on the beach, the snow, or even on a safari. Go see a waterfall, go scuba diving, hang on for dear life on a hair-raising roller coaster or relax and get pampered in a world-class spa. The only thing that you are limited by is your imagination. And these resorts offer rooms that have more amenities than hotel rooms and are even larger in square footage. It's a wonderful way to vacation whether you are traveling with the family or as a couple. Another exciting feature is that you are able to read first-hand reviews from timeshare owners all over the world which ensures that you will always have a quality stay in your timeshare.
