Is Your Tobacco Smoking Habit Driving Your Family Crazy

If you are still a tobacco cigarette smoker, then you have more than likely had your share of criticism from your spouse if you have one, your family and some friends as well for continuing your nasty deadly habit. Non smokers think it is ridiculously stupid to smoke tobacco and they are absolutely correct. However, if they have never done it themselves, they can not possibly understand what it is to be hooked on smoking. All they know is that when you do it around them, they just can not stand it.

You really can not blame them for disliking your smoking because to a non smoker, there are not many things that are as repulsive to them as the smell of tobacco. What is worse than smelling the cigarette while you are smoking it is the lingering stink it leaves on you, your breath and the surroundings where you smoked. It is a heavy, stale odor that sticks around forever it seems. When a non smoker walks into the house of or gets into the car of a tobacco smoker, they can tell it right away.

Other reasons they hate your smoking is when you do it near them, they also must inhale the toxic smoke you are putting into the air while your cigarette is burning and the smoke you exhale. It will make them smell like tobacco too. If you share a home with a non smoker, they do not enjoy the fact that their clothes, furniture and everything else in the home has this smell. Non smokers usually do not want to have to see nasty ashtrays sitting all around the house either.

These days, many non smokers have taken a strict stand against smoking in their home. Even smokers who share a house with a non smoker have found themselves banned to the outside to enjoy a cigarette. Once a home has been rid of the tobacco smoking for a while and everything has been cleaned from top to bottom, just smoking a few cigarettes inside again can bring the smell back quickly. To completely rid a home of tobacco smell, the walls need to be washed, the carpets and draperies cleaned and the furniture shampooed too. The clean smell will only last if there is no more smoking done in the house.

If you just do not want to give up smoking there is something you can do to help stop annoying your family. If you begin using an electronic cigarette, you will no longer offend them with the smell of tobacco because the e cigarettes produce no odor. They do not have toxic second hand smoke like tobacco wither. There is no tar to build up that sticky brown residue on you, your belongings, your home or car. You can use the e cigarette inside without any complaints and finally get your nicotine in peace!
