Is The Secret Real Or Iks The Secres A Lie?

By:

When people hear about 'The Secret' they usually have one question.

"Is 'The Secret' real?" they ask.

The truth is, that's a very simple question to ask, but the answer is not that simple.

Let me be frank with you. I have no intention of disgracing anyone or destroying anyone's beliefs in the Law of Attraction or any such positive belief.

What I will do, is give my honest opinion and show what I feel to be the true power of 'The Secret."

Here's why. You see, I am a direct response copywriter. Some people call me a wordsmith.

I'm the person that gets paid quite handsomely to weave words into ads so cleverly that they compel you to believe with every ounce of your soul, that you MUST immediately have whatever it is I am selling you.

To become a master wordsmith or copywriter, you must become a dedicated student in the art of persuasion - the art of using inherent psychological triggers that all humans possess to make them do your bidding. Then you take that knowledge and turn them to advertising and the use of writing.

The best copywriters become millionaires in the Direct Marketing industry. The direct marketing industry is an industry that is responsible for close to or over $2 trillion a year in product and service sales.

So what does this have to do with 'The Secret'?

The truth about 'The Secret' is that it is rooted in the direct response industry. In fact, it is one of the best sales pitches I've seen in the last decade. I can go on and on about that, but the average person wondering how great this "thing" is should know this...

The gurus in 'The Secret' are ALL professional marketers. Fact is many of them are some of the best direct marketers in the world for selling self help products.

Some of them may possibly have started out as copywriters themselves.

The fact of the matter is, 'The Secret' is basically one long ad that sells you into believing in the gurus in the movie and in the "intangible" magic which is 'The Secret.' When you do follow these gurus, and you will, they will sell you on their higher priced products so that you too can find out exactly how you can apply 'The Secret' in your life.

Now, before you think me blasphemous I should note... I DO in fact wholeheartedly believe in the Law of Attraction and in the fact that the human mind is one of the most powerful forces in manifesting reality that we know.

The problem is, I DO NOT believe in creating an environment where people have their butts stuck to the couch, wondering how they can change their lives instead of looking in the mirror and actually taking action by first changing their own minds.

The 'magic pill' is a principle in direct marketing that is the cornerstone to the creation of entire billion dollar industries. Most people are too lazy to take action. They would rather find a work free solution to their problems or blame someone else.

So, is 'The Secret' real?

My friend, the Law of Attraction is real; 'The Secret' is an marketing vehicle for its creators.
