LG Renoir comes as a great addition to the touchscreen phone market with its powerful features which are sure to set it apart from the competition. With a powerful 8 megapixel camera and advanced shooting options, this is one phone to watch out when considering photo taking capabilities of present cell phones.

Compared to its predecessor, LG Renoir looks classier and more refined. It has a 3 inch screen which supports 262,000 colors. On the front of the phone there are three buttons, the middle one takes you to the main menu and the other two are for answering and disconnecting calls.

The Renoir has a resistive touchscreen interface, which means that it will respond to any type of object and is not limited to the stylus. The touchscreen is more responsive compared to the Viewty.

The key feature is the camera. It's powerful and you may not need another stand alone camera if you have this phone. It is an 8 megapixel camera that has a large lens and sits on the back of the phone. To take a quick picture just turn the phone sideways and use the large shutter button to click. Another nice addition is the blink detection; it avoids taking a picture when someone has shut their eyes.

Overall, this 8 megapixel touchscreen phone has some high end and some unique features and all of these seem to work really well.
