Is It There, Yet?

You have sent the package by Chicago courier service, and we guaranteed you that it's well on its way. But you're not sure. Oh, it's not that you don't trust us, but human beings are built like that, we have a "show me" gene that demands proof of delivery.

Well, in this case you can put that little gene to rest so it can worry about other things, like mitosis or something. It's incredibly easy to obtain a proof of delivery from a Chicago Courier.

The most obvious method is the paper one. You remember those old post offices, where you filled out the paperwork and got a paper receipt? And when the delivery was made, you got a receipt in the mail that matched the first one. Voila! Package delivered, and in plenty of time, according to the notation on the receipt. We still do it that way, if you really want to feel nostalgic for the good old days.

To get a paper receipt showing that delivery was made, all you had to do was wait by the mailbox. It arrived a few days after and showed the signature of the recipient, the best guarantee of assured delivery.

More efficient is the digital signature, a receipt that is entered by a handheld device. This device is that small brown box your delivery driver holds up to the box and clicks, as
soon as he arrives at your door. He records the information from the package as he delivers it to you, and the delivery is recorded by digital satellite. It doesn't get much faster than that, does it?

This delivery method sends the receipt to you electronically, and you can easily down load it in an email or find it on the specified courier website. You can even print it out for proof to a third party, if needed by your customer.

What does the courier do with it? We keep it in our archives, in case there is proof needed someday that a package was indeed delivered. And, with the digital receipt, which records time, place and location, a lost item can be easily traced and tracked down.

All of this is to make sure that your package arrives, that you KNOW it arrived and that there's proof it did. We want to be sure we satisfy every customer, including the ones with the "show me" gene.
