Driving Histories records coming from the Department of Motor Vehicles are reviewed to see if any of the drivers were involved in a similar accident or if they are involved with another driving-related criminal case.

Car collision proceedings accept evidence found through the study of the preceding factors and may also include eyewitness accounts, photographs taken on the scene of the accident, point of impact analysis and accident reconstruction studies.
