The carports legs and bows or trusses should be laid on the ground. The legs should slide into the sleeves. This should be securely fastened together. The bows or trusses are lifted with the attached legs and the legs are slipped. This should be done over the raised metal sleeves. Level the framing and plumb the legs.

Once the frame is squared, plumbed and leveled, the sheet metal is then ready to be attached. Make sure that the frame is in proper setting. This would result great looking carport. Amount of overhang should be the same in each end. Prevent water intrusion, put neoprene washers on the screw. Trim the carport.
