Internet To Kill Network Marketing

Internet To Kill Network Marketing

By:

A webinar attended by nearly 2,100 registered multi-level marketing distributors was held this last Wednesday. In the early 60 seconds of the webinar, well over 1000 seats have already been sold out. It's hard to imagine what went on in that internet network marketing webinar, given that unusual presence of so many network marketers. The lingering question is why.

If you were one of the unfortunate few to have missed the webinar, well, it was controversial all right. Just the theme of the event, "The Internet is Killing Your Network Marketing Business," is already an unsettling statement, let alone a bold one.

The statement has indeed unruffled the feathers of all those multinational MLM corporations around the world. It's also very contrary to the increasingly popular trend of online MLM marketing. Could this just be an idle boast, meant to get the attention of gullible network marketers? Or could this be true, and unbeknownst to us the Internet is actually starting to unravel the industry of multi-level network marketing? To answer that question, keep reading what went on in that webinar.

According to the speaker of this webinar, the Internet held nothing back. The presence of online network marketing campaigns supposedly left a gaping abyss, which is, from a marketer's standpoint, the cause of the 95% failed network marketing efforts. Even more, they said that migrating a network marketing campaign online is as sure as raising your risk to 95% unnecessarily. This outrageous claim received mixed opinions from the network marketing critics who attended the webinar.

Another view that the speaker's party pointed out is the presence of multi level marketing software. Although they did not fully thrash talk network marketing software systems--which, by the way, are a great help to the network marketing industry--they didn't actually explored its real value in online network marketing, either. The mlm software, for example, helps greatly in increasing the manageability of a network hierarchy, and therefore helps in boosting profitability. But perhaps they just forgot to mention that.

The information, coming from self-proclaimed network marketing gurus, didn't receive as much trust from the audience, though. Not that you can actually feel sorry for that. In retrospect, probably there is some truth to this, too. It's just a little bit exaggerated for what it really is. A lot of fiery questions engulfed that room last Wednesday, but in all two hours, things seemed to have been straightened out. Though no one really came to a final compromise, many of the audience conceded with their point and suggested caution as a weapon to fight the downtrend in internet network marketing.
