1. Continue developing skills. It is not merely enough to learn about video marketing, article marketing, etc. one time. Nor is it possible to, everything is always changing and evolving just as you should be by constantly developing your skill. You can market your skills, help others and help yourself by staying current on the technologies and marketing methods you are exposed to in this industry.

2. Be visible. Yes you can get away with being a hermit in this industry... However, people like to know who they are dealing with and this goes even further than usual when working with people online. Not to mention you will attract like-minded people and go a lot further when people know who you are and what you are about. Get your face and your name out there, you will be amazed at the results this one tip can have on your success.

3. Ignore negativity. No matter where you go, what you do or who you are there will be people that do not like something about you, gratefully there will be twice as many or more that love you. Concentrate on the positives and do not let others negativities whether about you, your company, etc. bring you down. Even if it is a family member being negative do not allow anyone to trample over your dreams. Stay positive.

4. Have a work ethic. You are responsible for keeping yourself on task, motivated, getting educated and taking action. There is no boss scoring you on your productivity... However, you should be. Decide what it is you want to accomplish for your business each month or even on a weekly basis. Then put together a schedule and plan to create those results. Remember, your business is just that a business. If you treat it like a hobby, it will pay you like one. Of course this does not mean you cannot have fun, this is one of the few industries where you can have a lot of fun working.
