Sydney International Boat Show, 28th July - 1st August Notorious for being the best place to both see and buy boats, this fantastic boat show is held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre at the Cockle Bay Marina in Darling Harbour. It has everything from a Nautilus fishing clinic to a boat building competition. Ticket prices for adults start from around $16.50.

HISWA Amsterdam In-Water Boat Show, 30th August - 4th September If yacht building and custom built boats are more your style then this is the boat show for you. Marina Seaport, Amsterdam plays host to this one-of-a-kind boat show with a vast array of activities for you to choose from. It displays over 400 yachts in the water, ranging from 5 metres to 25 metres. There is a chance to buy plenty of nautical products and it also has great activities for the kids. This is definitely a family, friendly day out!

Norwegian International In-Water Boat Show , 1st September - 4th September A trip on the North Sea will take you to the in-water boat show just outside Oslo, Norway. With over 100 sail-boats and more than 1,000 meters metres of dock it is the ideal boat show to sail and relax at. With plenty of recognised exhibitors it has a great vibe and plenty to see and do.

34th Cannes International Boat and Yacht Show, 7th September - 12th September When it comes to sailing, the French Provence knows a thing or two. Why not sail down to the Mediterranean ocean and sample some of the French delights on offer at the Cannes International Boat and Yacht Show? Showcasing some of the most exquisite jewels of the ocean, this boat show is sophisticated and lavish. It boasts over 400 exhibitors from 34 different countries and has everything from boats, to super yachts, fashion and food. One of the most glamorous boat shows around.

The Atlantic City In-Water Power Boat Show, 8th September - 11th September If you are looking for a great deal on a new model then this is the right boat show for you. An impressive array of sports cruisers, express yachts, fishing yachts and cuddies can be found here. It gives you access to some exclusive boat show deals. Many often make a weekend of it so they can sample the atmosphere as well as the boats!

Auckland International Boat Show, 15th September - 18th September New Zealand's fantastic International Boat Show is their biggest ever on-water boat show. The international boat building competition will take place here, so if you want to see boat builders and apprentices compete to build a catamaran in 90 minutes then don't miss this show! Full of restaurants, bars, bistros and fabulous hotels, it is the ideal location for a summer stop!

43rd Southampton Boat Show, 16th September - 18th September The Southampton Boat Show is the UK's leading show and is celebrating its 43rd year. Set in one of the worlds largest purpose built marinas it is set to display over 350 boats this summer. It is fun for the whole family with activities for the kids and even a ladies day full of glamour and style. Also, as it is a historical marine city there are plenty of opportunities to learn as well as buy! It also features sea kitchen theatre, boat clinics and scuba diving. A boat show to end all boat shows!
