2. With the perfect necktie on hand, hold the wide end with your left hand and the narrower part with your right. Both ends of the tie must not be even or equal in height.
3. With both ends on each of your hands, drape the tie around the neck. Ensure that the tie faces forward.
4. Have your left hand hold the wider end by adjusting it in such a way that it hangs lower than the narrower end. Preferably, the wider end must be a foot lower than the opposite end.
5. Using your right hand, grab the wider end pulling it across the opposite end. Thereafter, switch your right hand with your left such that the latter now holds the wider end of the tie. The wider end must then be drawn towards the left just across your chest and with the narrow end on top of it.
6. Meanwhile, the wider end must again be brought back across the chest and over the narrow end with the use of your left hand. The same hand must also be used in pulling the tip of the wider end of the tie under the knot.
7. Keep the knot in a steady position using your index finger. Afterwards, the wider end of the tie must be pulled down through the knot.
8. Once down, keep the knot tight by bringing it towards your neck. The better the tie fits, the more charming it will look good in your shirt.
