It was my first trip to United States of America. The purpose of the visit was to see my relatives based there. Right from the time I applied for visa till the time I got my tickets there were many problems which I had to face. On my journey to New-York, I befriended a girl who was seated next to me in the flight. She was visiting her sister who is settled in USA. She was my age and the moment I saw her I had a crush on her. We started inquiring about each other. It was then I came to know that she lives nearby my complex in India. We started interacting about our colleges, future plans and marriage proposals.
We reached New York on time and I was wondering how quickly we made it there. It was later I realized while talking with her I didnt noticed how time flew. I asked for her mobile number before waving her good bye. My uncle and aunt were there waiting for me. On my way back with them all I was thinking was about was the girl. I felt that Im in love with that girl. But couldnt share this with them as am not sure as what would they think about this. When I reached home, I shared this experience with my cousin sister. As she was my age so I found comfortable to share this with her. The moment she heard the story she couldnt control her laughter. She said that I was been charmed by the girls beauty. She advised me to take a tour around United States so that I can free my mind from her. She asked me to join her in her trip to North Carolina. She was going there for some kind of assignment. Even I agreed as I was not able to think of anything apart from the girl.
We started early next day; it was a long drive from our place. She already had booked accommodation for us in
Econo Lodge. That day after checking in the hotel we went out to visit some attracting places there. First we went to Alamance Battleground, I didnt know any significant of such place but I enjoyed seeing such places. The next day, I saw many Indians in the hotel. It was then I realized that the hotel was managed by Indian company known as Panoramic Universal Ltd. I always imagined that taj and oberois are the only Indian company having hotels in other parts of the word. I was shocked to find that
Panoramic Universal Ltd. has many hotels in United States. Im not sure about the hotels they own in India, but the growth at which companies in India were prospering made me really proud. From a developing country we are turning in to developed country. The opportunities created by companies like Panoramic Universal Ltd. not only increased employment but also made India noticeable in every field.
The next day was spent visiting Benjamin vineyard & winery and Burlington City Park. These activities occupied my mind and the thought of that girl just remained a thought. I even lost the number which I took from her.
