Importance Of Keyword Research

A common problem many web site owners forget to do when they write articles is do their keyword research. The reason you will want to do keyword research is so can effectively target highly searched keywords, with very few competitors. The problem comes when web owners target keywords that have been over saturated with too many other popular websites.

Another problem is when you target keywords that dont receive or receive very few visitors. There is no point in writing about something that isnt even searched for and will ultimately never get read. The only time that you should target keywords with very few searches a month is if they really relate to your site or business. The reason you would want to target keywords with few searches if they are buy keywords, which are keywords that make you sales. For example if a keyword phrase is only searched a few times a month, but you are able to receive a high percentage of sale on these words.

One more problem when you dont do keyword research; is when web owners target keywords that are not even related to the main subject of their article or web page. So before you decide to even start writing, do your keyword research first. If you happen to write your article first, then decide to do the keyword research later. Once you have found your keywords go back and revise your article to include these keywords.

The best way to write an article consists of the following:

* Research Research your keywords to find a subject to write about.
* Write - Write the article the first time using these keywords.
* Read - Read the article that you just wrote to make sure it makes sense.
* Revise - Revise the article so that it sounds goods for your viewers.
* Reread - Read your article again to make sure it still makes sense.
* Publish - Publish your article so people can start viewing your article or web page.
