Seven ways leading to forming a positive outlook accepting the present situation: it is an important step to take. When a person accepts the present situation, it helps in moving forward in life rather than being stuck and sulking. Accepting here means thinking differently and changing ones position in relation to the situation. The truth is it is there whether it is liked or not. Releasing guilt: guilt is self created and to some extent it depends upon social norms set. It revolves around what an individual has done which is now making him or her guilty or what an individual have not done but was required to be done and is making him or her guilty. Individuals should learn to let go the guilt because the past cant be brought back. Giving appreciation and accepting appreciation: appreciation can be in the form gift or it can be expressing feelings towards someone who has done well and means alot. Appreciating good works, sending donation, offering payment or giving gifts to friends and close ones gives a sense of happiness and a joy. Every individual should try to incorporate it in ones daily life. Physical exercise: it is said that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body. Having a good exercise routine always gives a sense of satisfaction to the mind. Exercising a daily releases good hormone which helps the individuals to feel happy and content. Apart from this doing workout out daily keeps the body fit, healthy and in shape. Involving oneself in creative work: creativity is the way of expressing oneself to the world. Individuals should take out time and try to explore their creative side. Being creatively active helps in releasing tension and anxiety which refreshes an individual to go on in life every day. Right livelihood: it is related to livelihood that the individuals are earning. If they are happy then there is nothing to change or think about but if they are not then the question arises, what do they want instead? This question is needed to answered but first they need to go back to step 1 of acceptance. Meditation: 10 minutes meditation each day can work wonders. Following these seven steps can help any individual to acquire a good mental health. As in todays time workloads have increased manifolds, it has become essential to have a sound and healthy mind
