Implantation Bleeding

Implantation Bleeding

By:

Implantation bleeding refers to a brownish or pinkish discharge from the vagina, which usually take place after 6 to 12 days of ovulation. As per a survey, it was found that most ladies never experience this discharge. However, doctors propose that only 33% pregnant women will testify to implantation bleeding that they must have noticed somewhere around the time when they realize that they are about to become mothers. This discharge takes place when the ovulated egg gets embedded (implants) in the uterus due to which the discharge is known as implantation bleeding. Generally, a woman can go for a pregnancy test to know whether she is about to become a mother as soon as she notices this bleeding.

Some women might become frightened when they notice this unknown discharge or even suppose that this is not a sign of pregnancy as the discharge seems to be more like blood. On the other hand, the women who know about this bleeding are sometimes under a misconception that cramping, more bleeding, and backache come along with implantation bleeding. For maximum ladies, this bleeding is nothing but a brown or pink release of fluid combined within a plain discharge. So, if you have obtained a positive result for your pregnancy test and that over 10 days have passed of fertilization, implantation bleeding is not something that should happen. Therefore, if you notice blood, do not delay in consulting your doctor and adopt the given instructions properly as that could be a sign of a miscarriage.

When women go for a pregnancy test, most of them think that the blood would actually give erroneous results of a typical home pregnancy test. However, fortunately, that is not right. In reality, the blood does not impact this pregnancy test. If, in urine, the pregnancy hormone called hCG is found, the test will be positive or else, it will be negative. Understand that the urine and the discharge seeming like blood arrive from the separate body parts. Therefore, the bit of implantation bleeding does not have the power to distort the test results. However, if due to any reason, the test is not positive and that there is no continual bleeding as you notice during your periods, go for test after some 2 to 3 days so that your body gets enough time to generate hCG. On the other hand, if you yet not have received your period in a weeks time and that you do not have a sure pregnancy result, do talk to your doctor and inquire as to how to go ahead. The doctor might ask you to go for a blood test for pregnancy detection.

The best part is that as most of the women never notice implantation bleeding, you need not be much bothered with this. If you come to know that your friend has noticed it, but you have not; do not worry or think that something is going wrong with regards to your pregnancy. This is because the occurrence or non occurrence of implantation bleeding does not give the impression of impacting the result or pregnancy health.
