These individuals are going to do so during interviews, they do so during their presentations and internal training, and they do so at trade events. They do so, primarily because it sounds like the right, intelligent thing to say.

Despite this, the last thing that you want to do as a sales job seeker, especially entry-level, is tell somebody that they have a misconception regarding the most basic phrasing around.

However, take this first definition, put it in the back of your brain, and within six months into your sales career, this bit of knowledge will help you find the true definition of consultative selling.
