If I Offer My Vehicle To Baltimore Charity, Will I Be Compensated?

It is an inexcusable situation. At this very moment, you'll find that there exist several diseased, famished, homeless, hopeless, and horrified kids trying to get by on the harsh Baltimore streets. These "lost causes" are on our streets, many with no shelter, dirty, shamed, and despondent.

A good number of these kids get nourishment out of public refuse, while an even higher percentage of them are chemically addicted to narcotics such as methamphetamines, crack, and heroin.

By no means is it my intention to bring you down or "bum you out." Instead, I would like to uplift you. I'd love to let you know that there is hope for these kids, and that you and I have direct control over changing the lives of our sick, hungry, and homeless Baltimore children.

In addition, I would like to motivate you by letting you know that while donating your unwanted vehicle is undoubtedly a selfless act that you can feel wonderful, there are additional rewards to you that make the whole experience just that much more satisfying. We'll get to those in a moment.

Of course, we will only do so after I've tugged on your emotions just a little more... Here's what I would like you to do...

Get a clear mental picture of your own child, or a child you love dearly. Picture that little boy or girl dirty, on the streets, and thrown away by the world. See him or her begging for money, or worse, performing "favors" in order to get by. Perhaps this child is addicted to heroin or methamphetamines, infected with the AIDS virus, and having no access to any treatment whatsoever.

What is the look in your little one's eyes? Sorrow? Desperation? Fear? Isn't this an absolutely horrific, gut-wrenching thought?

Now put yourself in the picture, approaching your baby, holding him or her with all the care and compassion in the world, and returning this suffering child to your loving home.

Unfortunately, most of these children don't have parents to come to their rescue. They lost theirs to drugs, crime, and death. Many of these kids wouldn't even recognize their real parents if they saw them. Sadly, this is by no means a rare situation. It affects our (yes, I call them ours) children by the hundreds... no, by the thousands. I hope you truly understand the magnitude of what's going on here.

This really sucks, but how can I change it?

That happens to be the million dollar question. And in all actuality, the answer is astonishingly simple. Would you like to know what it is? So with this monetary incentive, coupled with the feelings of goodwill that you can enjoy as a result of bringing hope and happiness to Baltimore's underprivileged children, you should be able to see very clearly that this is a situation where everyone wins!
