Rarely Found Fruits

Some fruits also belong to this superfood category because of being full of phytochemicals. However, they are rarely found in the market, but you feel inclined to make efforts to find them as they are so good for preventing so many diseases. You can buy blueberries, cranberries, acai, wolfberry, guarana, noni, mangosteen and pomegranate, which belong to this super category. You should try to include them in your daily diet as they can really help to keep you healthy.

Vegetables and Grains

There is a need to find the vegetables which qualify to come under the super category. Many green leafy vegetables have high phytochemical content. You can also include some grains and food additives under the category of super. These are flax seed, soybeans and quinoa. Many other foods like aloe vera, garlic, honey and similar products having probiotic qualities can also be classified as super.

Eat a Balanced Diet

Although some of the foods mentioned under the superfood list are rare, you can still have your fair share of phytochemicals by eating a diet rich in fiber and plenty of fruits and vegetables. It is important to eat a balanced diet together with taking the food rich in phytonutrients. This will provide a very nutritious diet which will surely keep you healthy.
