Ideas For Food Cuisines At Weddings

One of the main responsibilities taught to someone who has taken wedding planner courses or is planning to take wedding planner courses is the planning of the food in the entire event. In many cultures, the wedding is more than a one day affair usually consisting of 4-5 days including bridal showers, bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, the actual wedding, the reception or other after parties. The food involved in these areas is all the wedding planners responsibility. It is not an easy task as the options are so much and the planner needs to be creative with limited budgets and last minute budget cuts when preparing food for a certain number of people. As taught when the wedding planners take wedding planner courses, the first step would be to go through a list of different options of preferred cuisines with the clients. The wedding planner would also need to discuss if the clients preferred similar cuisines on all the celebration days or different styles or maybe even different food stations on the same day at one event. For example, a wedding planner can have a Geisha theme in the bachelorette party and serve only a Japanese cuisine; the wedding rehearsal could be staged like an Indian wedding and serve Indian food. For another example, the bachelor party could have middle eastern belly dancers and serve middle eastern food and hookahs or a bridal shower could be in the form of a pool party with barbeque style foods. Or, in the same location for a wedding reception, different food stations can offer different varieties and cuisines of foods. There could be a stand for burgers and fries attracting the younger wedding guests and on the other side there could be a Chinese buffet. Of course, all the options and selections also depend on the budgets of the clients and location where the wedding celebrations are taking place. For example, it would probably not be easy to find a lot of Sushi places if the wedding is taking place in the Middle East. Likewise, in a cold climate such as in Canada it would not be a good idea to serve cold Pina Coladas and the clients and wedding planners may want to stick with soups etc; For this type of information of course a wedding planner course is not required instead the clients and the wedding planner would be able to see that for themselves.
