Ideas For Authors With Writer's Block

By:

When writing a lot of articles online, it is easy to get writers block and think that you have run out of topics to write about. This is actually so not true, as there are a million topics out there that have yet to be explored and written about.

The more you do article marketing, the more difficult it becomes to get fresh ideas to write about on your chosen niche. This is why you should always choose a niche to write about that you know a lot about already. If you are an expert in your field, you will be able to offer a lot more value to your readers.

There are many ways to get ideas on what to write about. One of the best ways is to visit Yahoo Answers and see what type of questions people are asking. In this way, if you write an article which helps to solve a common problem or gives advice, you know that you are likely to get more readers. It is also a great way to get ideas on what to write about. Sometimes you find people are looking for answers in your niche that you never thought they would ask, as you automatically assumed everybody knew this. It is always good to look at your niche with the eyes of somebody who is just starting out and has loads of questions and things to learn.

Using Google to research your topic is also a great way to get ideas on what to write about. Never copy other peoples articles, but you can certainly read them and form your own opinions.

If you have in the past written an Ebook that has been distributed, remember you can take content out of your Ebook and turn it into articles. If it is your own Ebook, there is no reason why you can't copy the article, as it won't show anywhere on the net. Ebooks never show on the internet as duplicate content, as they are not freely available by the search engines.

It also helps to plan in advance what you are going to write about. Keep a small notebook with you and write down ideas as they come to mind. Sit and plan about eight article in advance. Come up with some good titles and write a few lines of ideas underneath each title. In this way when you are ready to write, you can just whip out your notes and get an article done in no time.

If all else fails, take a few days break and clear your mind. Go and do something that you don't normally do, like taking a long walk, or clear your mind and try some meditation. Sometimes your mind is just tired and you just need a bit of a break. Once you go back to your writing, you will do so with renewed vigor.
