I Made A Lot Of Profit Selling Disco Lights

There was just one month left for 31st December to arrive. We had a small project in my management class coming up where we had a short business venture (of a week) to start with. We could think about any innovative business venture, do it for just one week and then whatever profits we earn would go to charity at the end of the day. This was really going to be an exciting project for us as it was not confined to the walls of the classroom. It was a real hands on project where we would be dealing with the outside world and try to earn as much as possible. There was special prize for the top 3 revenue earners. We had to make groups of 3 people and start thinking about the venture for 3 weeks. In the 4th week of December, the venture had to be done for just one week.

So my two friends and I put our thinking caps on and devised some good alternatives. Since it was festival time like Christmas and New Years Day, we decided on the venture of arranging parties for residences and corporates. We decided that we would advertise about our event management company everywhere we could through any medium that we would find convenient. We tied up with decorators and caterers and we were fortunate to get a good price. Orders started pouring in soon and all 3 of us had a very hectic week. However one of our decorators failed to deliver for a particular party and time was running out. So we decided to go the decoration for that party on our own as there was no time left to select a new decorator.

We visited a site called Legal Buds and ordered the disco lights from there. There were a lot of lights that the site offered such as the rotating strobe light, neon lights, bubble maker, etc. We made a special request to the site to deliver the goods soon as were living in the same city as their office. The site agreed to do this and soon we fixed up the lights where the party was about to begin in a few hours. We were saved in the nick of time and our idea was a huge success as we took advantage of the festival season and made lots of money that we contributed to charity after deducting our expenses.

I will definitely go for the wholesale enquiry of disco lights from Legal Buds as I am planning to make it into one of my full time businesses.
